The Opportunity:

The Environmental Management team in BC and Yukon collects a lot of data using various techniques and we need additional support processing, managing, and maintaining that data. You have a passion for the environment, and will be collaborating with a large team of like-minded professionals and supporting successful project delivery, with a keen eye on quality and innovation.

A day in the life:

• You'll be using your data processing skills to work with field teams and project managers to manage field and laboratory analytical data in accordance with established processes and procedures, with data integrity and quality in mind
• You will help train colleagues to use our database and software effectively
• Ensure the proper functioning of data management software (EarthSoft EQuIS)
• You will come up with ways to streamline our processes and expand the ways we can support our project delivery teams

What you'll bring to WSP ...

• 2-5 years in data management, preferably environmental data management
• Experience using various software applications, including MS Excel, and EarthSoft EQuIS)
• Knowledge of Power BI, Survey 123, WebMap, Equis Collect, Leapfrog, OGC, and Python are an advantage,
• Knowledge of C++, Javascript and relationable databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
